Background

A global food manufacturer had established a new corporate strategy and innovation organisation designed to increase the speed at which the business was able to identify, develop, test and launch new products and services.

Approach

We designed and facilitated the first two annual global ‘capability weeks’ for this new innovation organisation.
Over 4 days, 278 participants from around the world were coached in the application of new innovation tools on their projects; alongside a curated programme of internal and external keynote speakers, panel discussions and community conversations aimed at uniting the organisation around new ways of working.

Impact

Annually aligned strategic priorities and resource commitments between the global team and key regions around the world.

Globally aligned innovation ‘scale’ projects to deliver on a strategic portfolio shift.

Strategy process and facilitation rated at 4.5/5.0 by senior leadership participating.

Global-regional integrated approach was rated as ‘very valuable’ or ‘extremely valuable’ by 90% of participants.
