Iain is an internationally-recognised innovation and design management expert, working at the intersection of consulting, research and education.

Over 15 years, he has consulted for clients including British Gas, Danone, Innovate UK, NHS Highland, Lenovo, Mars Inc., Samsung, Unilever, and Yamaha, leading projects in over 15 countries around the world.

Iain has held a range of leadership and advisory positions including: a decade as Director at Plan, Programme Director at the Glasgow School of Art’s Innovation School, Board Memberships of Creative Scotland and the Design Management Institute, USA.

Iain lives in Edinburgh with his wife and two small children, who occasionally help out with the colouring in at the office. When he’s not Grafting or Dadding, he takes time out to do some rock climbing, or run a hill race or two (with zero training).
